E3 2018 is right around the corner, and it's set to be one of the most stacked years for the show yet. There are a number of high profile, blockbuster releases already confirmed for the show, and when one combines those with the surprises that are no doubt in store, it's clear that this year's E3 is going to be h


On the bottom left, players will notice a Parasaur, a dinosaur commonly found in starting areas and on beaches of ARK maps. We don't have much official information on 2017's Assassin's Creed game, except for the fact that it exists and is due for release later this year. Sadly, I can tell you right now that this game suffers from many of the same problems the original Fable had. The in-game economy is still woefully simple, the plot and many of the characters still lack depth, and the world of Albion in all its glory still feels like it was laid out with anything but feng shui in mind.

Now, with that said, one would think this review is going to continue down this path and Fable II will once again fail to reach the pinnacle that was expected of it. With such flaws as a poor map, an unbalanced economy, and a relatively dull plot, how could a game recover? It is quite simple, really. Like its incredibly detailed morality system, the developers seemed to be presented with a choice. They could either give it an epic story with incredibly detailed and fleshed-out characters or sacrifice a large amount of your gaming freedom, or they could give you an engrossing game with limitless options but sacrifice a fanciful plot. They chose the latter and, like your character, whether that is a good or a bad thing is essentially up to you.


Whereas most of Pokemon Red and Blue is family-friendly as can be, there is one section of the game that may have given young fans nightmares back in the 90s. Lavender Town is the strangest city in all of the Kanto region, home to the Pokemon Tower, itself a massive structure dedicated to dead Pokemon. Not only was the Metroid Prime 4 announcement surprising, but so too was the confirmation that the game isn't being developed by Retro Studios . Retro worked on the original trilogy of Metroid Prime games, and many fans were expecting the studio to return for Metroid Prime 4 , only to learn that the game is being developed by a brand new team. Capcom had a presence at E3, most notably revealing Monster Hunter World , but one of the company's biggest franchises, Resident Evil , wasn't given any love at the show. Capcom didn't pull the curtain back on Resident Evil 7 's Not A Hero DLC as some expected, and it also failed to unveil the Resident Evil 2 remake, a game that fans have been waiting to see for years now. After escaping the T-Rex and the enemy clan, Vin Diesel and his group find themselves in a ruin full of technology . Of note, the child in the trailer examines a rock with several carvings on it. Though this mural certainly doesn't confirm any dinosaurs, it should be said that there are several on it that didn't show up in the trailer. Aside from the T-Rex and Brontosaurus which already had spotlights, there are at least three other dinosaurs shown that aren't yet accounted


With Nintendo forgoing a traditional press conference yet again, the extent of the Big N's presence at E3 is a bit of an unknown factor. However, we do know that Nintendo plans on hosting a Nintendo Direct presentation like it did last year, and this time it will be headlined by Super Mario Odyssey , the biggest Nintendo Switch exclusive game on the horizon. What we've seen of Super Mario Odyssey so far has been plenty impressive, but along with more gameplay footage, here's hoping that Nintendo also gives the highly anticipated game a release date come E3 next w
